Who are we?

We are a non audition musical theatre choir based in Faversham, Kent.

We are here to enjoy singing Musical Theatre repertoire in a warm, friendly, and supportive environment. We aim to build confidence, enhance mental wellbeing, and push performance boundaries.

We perform a wide repertoire of music theatre songs, including:

where do we rehearse?

We meet at St Jude's, Tanners Street on Monday nights.

Senior Choir: 7:15 - 8:45pm, £6 per session, 18+

Junior Choir: 6-7pm just £3 per session! Year 6+ (11-17)

Choir Leader

Naomi Ash

Naomi trained in musical theatre at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting.

Since graduating in 2013, Naomi has been the Musical Director on many local shows and has run choirs and singing groups in schools and at performing arts schools across Kent.

She has also covered sessions for the well renowned "Reach out gospel choir" and "Lemon zingers" on various occasions.

Naomi has been teaching singing privately for more than 15 years and now has her own studio for lessons.

Naomi is really excited to continue getting into some of the wonderful group musical theatre numbers that have been written over the years with you all.

Claire Snoad

Claire has been performing locally since she was 7 years old.

Her passion for theatre took her to Buckinghamshire New University to study BA Musical Theatre, graduating in 2014.

She owns Claire Snoad Productions and produces shows locally. Most recently she produced "The Sound of Musicals" at the Arden Theatre, in which she was proud to feature the "Faversham Musical Theatre Choir" in their theatrical debut.

When she is not producing shows she is in them, you may have seen her in various Up the Creek Pantomimes and singing at Open Mic nights in Herne Bay, the Chequers Inn in Doddington and The Alexander Centre Faversham.

She is absolutely delighted to see FMTC go from strength to strength and hopes to welcome even more members in the future!
